Established in 1964 in Olaine—the chemical and pharmaceutical capital of Latvia—Olaine Technology College of Riga Technical University (Rīgas Tehniskās universitātes Olaines Tehnoloģiju koledža / RTU OTK; historically Olaines Mehānikas un tehnoloģijas koledža - OMTK) is the nation’s sole specialized applied technical higher education college dedicated to chemical technologies, pharmaceutical processing, biotechnology, food quality control, and environmental protection.
