Established in September 2000, the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) was the first overseas campus of a British university in the world and the pioneer British institution established in Malaysia. Located on a scenic 125-acre dedicated parkland campus in Semenyih, Selangor, UNM blends British academic excellence with state-of-the-art Malaysian research and teaching facilities. All degree programmes are modeled identically to those awarded at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, granting students internationally recognized British qualifications accredited by MQA, the Board of Engineers Malaysia (under the Washington Accord), IChemE, ICE, IMechE, IET, BCS, BPS, and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
